My Cousin Sent Me an Email That Said “Maxi Cab Singapore”
I was at home checking my email when I got a message from my cousin that said “Maxi cab Singapore.” I didn’t bother replying because it’s probably him asking help from me again. I remember the last time I helped him, he didn’t even thank me after all I went through. I wasn’t going to fall for it a second time. I decided to go to my room and relax when my phone suddenly rang, and it was my cousin. I ignored it, but then he was very persistent and still kept calling me. I decided to answer the phone and ask him what he needed.
I asked him what he wanted, and he asked me if I got his email. I lied and said I didn’t. He said that it was about a maxi cab in Singapore. He needed a cab service for his business trip. I told him I didn’t know any. He knew I have been to Singapore and that I rode a limousine for a business convention there. He begged me to help him. I decided to be straight up honest to him. I told him that I didn’t like helping him because he’s the kind that never thanks people after they have helped him.
I could hear him breathing over the phone as he paused to think what to say next. He then apologized for being so rude. He said he would thank me in advance if I help him. It was enough to convince me, so I gave him the number of the maxi cab company I contacted during my stay in Singapore. I told him to make a maxi cab booking in advance to make sure he gets a ride for his business trip. He thanked me for helping him and said that he’ll make sure to thank other people who help him from then on.
